SEEKING TALENT FOR THE FOLLOWING ROLES:
HEATHER (Lead) – Female, 30s-40s, Any Ethnicity
A grieving yet resolute mother, writing a letter to the predator who stole her child’s innocence. She carries quiet devastation but refuses to break. Her pain is deep, but her rage is controlled. This role requires strong emotional range, the ability to convey sorrow, fury, and quiet strength through subtle facial expressions and voice-over delivery.
Requirements:
- Must be comfortable with intense, dramatic subject matter.
- Strong ability to convey nuanced emotion without excessive dialogue.
- Experience in dramatic/psychological roles preferred.
Lily (Supporting) – Female, 9-10, Any Ethnicity
A young girl who was once full of light, but now carries the weight of something no child should. She has vacant stares, hesitant touches, and distant silences that say more than words ever could.
Requirements:
- Must be able to portray innocence, fear, and quiet trauma.
- No explicit content involved, but must be comfortable with emotionally heavy themes.
- Parent/Guardian must be present on set.
[PREDATOR] (Supporting) – Male, 30s-50s, white
A seemingly ordinary man with a deeply disturbing secret. He is not overtly monstrous—his horror lies in his normalcy. He struggles with paranoia as his crime spirals beyond his control. This role requires an actor who can balance unsettling quietness, internal conflict, and glimpses of remorse (or lack thereof).
Requirements:
- Must be able to portray psychological tension and internal unraveling.
- Comfortable with playing a disturbing, but subtly performed role.
- No explicit or physical scenes involving children.
DETECTIVE ROBERTS (Supporting) – Female, 40s-60s, Any Ethnicity
A seasoned detective who has seen too many cases like this, yet it never gets easier. Tired but empathetic, hardened but not heartless. They have to deliver the worst news imaginable to a mother who already knows it’s coming.
Requirements:
- Strong presence, able to convey authority and quiet sympathy.
- Experience with crime/drama roles a plus.
